Indosat reports strong rise in revenues, profits in Q1

Indonesian telecoms operator Indosat has reported a strong rise in revenue and profits in the three months ended 31 March 2007. Revenues in the period climbed by 30.2% year-on-year from IDR2.89 trillion to IDR3.78 trillion, while operating income rose 22.8% to IDR1.04 trillion and net income reached IDR483.9 billion, up 26% y-o-y.
