Indonesia Telkom Adds 8.2 Million New Mobile Phone Subscribers In 1st Half

JAKARTA -(Dow Jones)- Indonesia's largest telecommunications operator PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia added 8.2 million new mobile telephone subscribers during the first half of the year, a company official said Wednesday. The new subscribers brought its total mobile phone customers to 47.3 million as of end-June, from 39.1 million as of end-2006, said Telkom Finance Director Sudiro Asno. [more, cellular-news.com]
