JAKARTA, March 31 (Reuters) - Indonesia's second-largest mobile phone operator, PT Indosat Tbk ISAT.JK, saw a better-than-expected 23.6 percent rise in fourth-quarter net profit, thanks to strong growth in its subscriber base.
The company, around 40 percent owned by Asia Mobile Holdings, saw mobile phone users expand by 47 percent to 24.5 million last year, beating 38 percent growth for the overall industry. [more, reuters]
