Indonesia's Indosat awards Thales Alenia to build, launch Palapa-D satellite

JAKARTA (Thomson Financial) - Indonesia's PT Indosat said Tuesday it has appointed Thales Alenia Space France (TASF) to build and launch its Palapa-D satellite.
The satellite is set to be launched in 2009 and has a service life of 15 years. [more, forbes]
