Indonesian telecom company's internet traffic down to 10%

JAKARTA, March 1 (Xinhua) -- Internet traffic of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) was down to 10 percent on Friday as undersea fiber optic connections to Singapore, which connect the country to the rest of the world, failed to function.

As the main provider for internet traffic connection, Telkom said its fiber optic failure did not completely cut internet services, The Jakarta Post daily reported on Saturday. [more, xinhua]
